The Hurricane Generator App is an Artificial Intelligence app that allows you to generate storms.

Hurricanes, Tropical Storms and Depressions are a blend of different atmospheric conditions, which include tolerances for windspeed and barometic pressure. By altering the values of either of these parameters, the user can generate a hurricane, tropical depression, or dissipate the storm. A readout of windspeed and barometric pressure is displayed on the left, with additional information about atmospheric pressure, in the form of several animated gifs.

The app uses statistical data gathered from the NOAA website and is an accurate model of how storms and hurricanes form. If the values of windspeed and barometric data do not accurately reflect this data the storm will 'dissapate'. If however you do manage to hit upon the correct values, the rate of the storm will increase, from Tropical Depression, to Category 1, 2, 3, all the way up to the highest category. It is the hope of this developer and of the Hurricane Force team that this will give the user an intuitive way of understanding just how hurricanes form.
